Windsor Woman Wins $10,000

Story Photo A Windsor woman can replace some TVs and fix vehicle damage from a recent storm after she uncovered a $10,000 prize on a Missouri Lottery "4 Million Dollar Cash Bonanza" Scratchers ticket.  Jennifer Swetnam, 32, said she bought two $20 tickets on May 16 before she started her shift as an assistant manager at G & Liquor, 105 E. Benton in Windsor.

"I was hoping to win $500 to help pay the insurance deductible (for the damage)," she said.  "I called my husband, Jon, and he couldn’t believe it."

Jonathan Swetnam is the manager of Jaeger Tire in Clinton.

Swetnam said she plans to use the prize money to pay bills, replace several electronic items and fix Jon’s Jeep, which were damaged by the storm.  In addition to that, they plan to use some prize money to take a small trip to celebrate their first wedding anniversary in August.

The $20 "4 Million Dollar Cash Bonanza" Scratchers game, which officially began on Jan. 26, offers four top prizes of $4 million and 16 prizes of $1 million.
