Salisbury Man Plans to 'Stimulate Economy' with $10,000 Lottery Prize

Story Photo A 33-year-old Salisbury man said he plans to help “stimulate the economy” after he won $10,000 playing the Missouri Lottery Scratchers game “$250,000 Mega Cash.”  Michael Walser purchased his winning ticket on May 16 at Casey’s, 502 N. Weber Ave. in Salisbury.

“I had to have three or four people check (the ticket) to make sure it was real,” Walser said.  “I couldn’t believe it.”
Walser, who works for the U.S. Postal Service in Columbia, said he plans to catch up on a few bills and fill up his gas tank before making any purchases.

The $10 "$250,000 Mega Cash" Scratchers game officially began on March 1.
