Lottery Transfers $23.8 Million To Public Education

The Missouri Lottery today transferred $23.8 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs.  The May proceeds transfer of $23,893,875 was based on April ticket sales and brings the total transferred in fiscal year 2008 to more than $243 million.

Since the Lottery began nearly 22 years ago, it has generated more than $3.2 billion in proceeds for the state, including public education.

Three Scratchers Expire In Next Two Months

Three Missouri Lottery Scratchers games will expire during June and July:
  • "Hot Slots" - expires June 19;       
  •  "Scary Cash" - expires June 26;
  • "$100,000 Jackpot" - expires July 17.
