LOTTERY SENDS $13.8 MILLION IN PROCEEDS TO EDUCATION
The Missouri Lottery today sent $13.8 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. This month’s transfer of $13,869,656 is based on lottery sales in February, and it brings the total amount transferred in fiscal year 2000 to more than $112 million.
The Missouri Lottery has provided the state, including education, with more than $1.4 billion since the lottery began selling tickets 14 years ago.
