Curryville Man Wins $10,000 Powerball Prize

A Curryville man is $10,000 richer after he won the third-level
Powerball prize on May 10 when his ticket matched four of five white-ball numbers and the Powerball number.
Oliver "Allen" Staton, 64, purchased his winning ticket at Abel’s Quik Stop, Highway 61 in Bowling Green. He used Quick Pick to let the computer select his numbers. His winning numbers were: 7, 30, 41, 45 and the Powerball number was 6.
Staton checked the winning numbers on Molottery.com and learned that he had won the $10,000 prize.
"I was so nervous, I liked to fell over," Staton said. "I just kind of froze."
Staton said he went for a walk to calm down and came back and checked the ticket again just to be sure he did have a winner.
"It’s kind of a shock," Staton said.
Staton plans to put his prize money in the bank and maybe take a trip to Branson.
