Missouri Lotto Jackpot Worth $2.2 Million Remains Unclaimed

A Missouri Lotto jackpot worth $2.2 million has not been claimed.  The winning ticket from the April 26 drawing was purchased at Deer Run Quick Mart, 1322 N. Main in O’Fallon.  One Lotto ticket sold there matched all six numbers drawn - 1, 5, 6, 8, 12 and 42 - to win the jackpot.

"If you buy Lotto tickets there, please check them closely," said Susan Goedde, communications manager for the Missouri Lottery.

Lotto winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.  In this case, the winner has until Oct. 23, 2008.

If you discover you hold the winning ticket, sign the back of it and take it to a Missouri Lottery office.  Offices are located in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Kansas City and Springfield.  Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s Web site on the Contact Us page.

There have been 175 winning Missouri Lotto jackpot tickets sold and 252 tickets worth $1 million or more overall since the Lottery began in 1986.
