Brookfield Man Wins $50,000 Prize
George Epperly of Brookfield is $50,000 richer after uncovering the top prize on a Missouri Lottery "Crossword" Scratchers ticket. Epperly, 52, bought his ticket at Casey’s, 303 W. Lockling in Brookfield."I didn’t believe it when I saw (the prize)," Epperly said.
Epperly plans to use some of his prize money to pay off bills, and he’s going to save the rest.
"Crossword," a $3 game, officially began on March 1.
