Missouri Powerball Prize Worth $800,000 Claimed

An $800,000 Missouri Powerball prize has been claimed by HCM Trust of Kansas City.  The winning ticket from the March 1 drawing, which was purchased at QuikTrip, 7133 N.W. Barry Road in Kansas City, was claimed on April 1.
HCM Trust used the computer to Quick Pick the winning numbers on the ticket, which matched all five of the white-ball numbers drawn - 2, 19, 21, 31 and 55 - to win the second-level prize.  The lucky winner selected the Power Play option, which allows players, for an extra $1, to multiply their prizes up to five times.  Because the winner chose the Power Play option, and the Power Play number was four, the prize was multiplied to $800,000.
HCM Trust’s ticket was the 92nd second-level winning ticket in Missouri since the game redesign in August 2005.
