Missouri Powerball Prize Worth $800,000 Still Unclaimed

A Missouri Powerball player who buys tickets at QuikTrip, 7133 N.W. Barry Road in Kansas City, is $800,000 richer!  One Powerball ticket sold there for the March 1 drawing matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn - 2, 19, 21, 31 and 55 - to win the second-level prize.  The lucky player also selected the Power Play option, which allows players, for an extra $1, to multiply their prizes up to five times.  Because the player chose the Power Play option, and Power Play number was four, the prize was multiplied to $800,000.
"It’s been nearly four weeks since someone won that prize, but no one has claimed it yet," said Susan Goedde, communications manager for the Missouri Lottery.  "If you buy Powerball tickets there, please check them closely."
Powerball winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.  In this case, the winner has until Aug. 28.
If you discover you hold the winning ticket, sign the back of it and take it to a Missouri Lottery office.  Offices are located in Kansas City, Jefferson City, St. Louis and Springfield.  Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s Web site on the Contact Us page.
