Missouri Lotto Ticket Worth $850,000 Sold in Columbia

A Missouri Lotto player who buys tickets at Casey’s, 2530 Range Line Road in Columbia, is $850,000 richer!  One Lotto ticket sold there for the March 12 drawing matched all six numbers drawn - 1, 8, 17, 23, 27 and 37 - to win a share of the jackpot.  One other ticket, which was purchased at Casey’s, 601 N. St. Joe Dr. in Park Hills, also matched all six numbers for the same drawing.  The jackpot was worth $1.7 million, so each of the two winning tickets is worth $850,000.
"If you buy Lotto tickets there, please check them closely," said Susan Goedde, communications manager for the Missouri Lottery.
Lotto winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.  In this case, the winner has until Aug. 11, 2008.
If you discover you hold the winning ticket, sign the back of it and take it to a Missouri Lottery office.  Offices are located in Jefferson City, Kansas City, St. Louis and Springfield.  Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s Web site on the Contact Us page.
There have been 174 winning Missouri Lotto jackpot tickets sold since the game began in 1986.
