St. Louis Woman Cleans Up With Top Lottery Prize

Story Photo A St. Louis (63116) housekeeper and operating room aide cleaned up when she uncovered the top prize of $27,777 on a "Spicy Hot 7’s" Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket.
Bridgett Jefferson, 51, had the day off from work on March 5 when she stopped at N & M Food Store, 4201 Manchester in St. Louis, where she purchased her winning ticket.  She scratched off her ticket right away and revealed the top prize.
"I thought I was going to pass out," Jefferson said.  "Today was my lucky day.  I’m still jittery."
Jefferson said she plans to use her prize money to purchase a different vehicle.
"Spicy Hot 7’s," a $2 game, officially began on Sept. 26, 2007.
