Bowling Green Teen Uncovers $10,000

Story Photo audio icon A trip to Jamaica is in the works for Justin Griggs of Bowling Green.  Griggs has been planning on visiting the island for some time, but after a trip to Casey’s General Store on Feb. 23, his dream vacation is becoming a reality.  Griggs, 19, stopped for pizza at Casey’s General Store, 305 N. Business 61 in Bowling Green.  He said a "Lifetime Riches" Scratchers ticket caught his eye, and the impulse buy turned into $10,000.
"I scratched the ticket, and I knew that I won, but I hadn’t scratched the prize yet," said Griggs.  "So I stopped, scratched the prize and about fainted."
Griggs said he often buys tickets at Casey’s on his way to the evening shift at True Manufacturing in Bowling Green.
"Lifetime Riches" is a $10 game that began on April 22, 2006.  The top prize is $50,000 a year for life.
