ARKANSAS WOMAN WINS $10,000 WITH TICKET BOUGHT IN CARDWELL

An Arkansas woman scratched off $10,000 just in time for the holidays. Tammy Roberts of Marmaduke, Ark., said her boyfriend gave her the winning "Red Hot Money" ticket, which turned out to be worth $10,000. Roberts said she plans to use the money to buy new clothes for her children, "give them a great Christmas," and put some money in savings accounts for them. Roberts’ boyfriend purchased the winning ticket at Burton’s Quick Shop in Cardwell. "Red Hot Money," the Lottery’s 314th Scratchers game, officially began on June 24.
