POWERBALL PRIZE ADDS TO CHRISTMAS CHEER
A 25-year-old St. Louis woman said she will have a better Christmas than she originally planned after winning $100,000 in the Nov. 29 Powerball drawing. Lakita Harris (63133*) said she also plans to use some of the money to pay off bills.
Harris, who is a meat clerk at a grocery store, purchased her winning ticket at Phillips 66, 1342 Pennsylvania in Pagedale. She used family birthdays to pick the winning combination. Those numbers were: 1, 4, 20, 27 and 29.
To date, 507 Powerball tickets worth $100,000 have been sold in Missouri since the game began in 1992.
