Lottery Sends $23 Million To Education Fund

The Missouri Lottery today transferred more than $23 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs.  The January proceeds transfer of $23,176,841 was based on Lottery ticket sales during December, and brings the total transferred in fiscal year 2008 to more than $147 million.
Since the Lottery began nearly 22 years ago, it has generated more than $3.1 billion in proceeds for the state, including public education.

 Nine Scratchers To Expire Next Month
Nine Missouri Lottery Scratchers games are scheduled to expire in February.  Those games are:
•    Game 595    "$75,000 Tax-Paid" - Feb. 12, 2008
•    Game 627    "Crossword" - Feb. 12, 2008
•    Game 629    "7-11-21" - Feb. 12, 2008
•    Game 648    "5 Times Lucky" - Feb. 14, 2008
•    Game 658    "Red, White & Blue" - Feb. 14, 2008
•    Game 608    "Ace in the Hole" - Feb. 19, 2008
•    Game 612     "Money Money Money" - Feb. 19, 2008
•    Game 623    "Nifty $50" - Feb. 19, 2008
•    Game 624    "Red Hot Cash" - Feb. 19, 2008
