MEXICO COUPLE WIN TRIP TO THE SUPER BOWL
A Mexico couple’s names were drawn as the grand-prize winners in the Missouri Lottery’s "Luckytown Touchdown" promotion. Jerome and Vivian Talken won a trip for two to the Super Bowl in Tampa Bay, Fla., on Jan. 28 complete with airfare, three night’s hotel accommodations, two tickets to the game, transportation to and from the game and $500 spending money.
Jerome Talken, 74, said due to his health, the couple plan to give the trip package to his 48-year-old daughter and her husband.
In addition to the grand prize, the Lottery awarded 50 first prizes of $1,000 in the promotion, which ran from Nov. 6 through Dec. 1. The drawing was held on Dec. 13.
Players entered the promotion using entry tickets they received when they purchased $3 or more of SHOW ME 5 Paydown. Talken said he and his wife only had two entries in the drawing.
