Mokane Woman Wins $100,000 Lottery Prize

Story Photo Joanie Rolufs, Mokane, is $100,000 richer after uncovering the top prize in the Missouri Lottery’s "Season’s Greetings" Scratchers game. Rolufs and her fiancé, James Alder, bought the $5 ticket on Dec. 18 when they stopped at Fast Lane, 1001 Bluff St. in Fulton, to get something to drink after finishing their Christmas shopping.
"We’re still in disbelief," Rolufs said.
Rolufs, who works at Fulton State Hospital, plans to use her prize money to put a down payment on a house and to buy a computer.
"Season’s Greetings" officially began on Oct. 27.
