$50,000 Tax-Paid Prize Remains Unclaimed in Hazelwood

If you buy SHOW ME 5 Paydown tickets at QuikTrip, 5950 Howdershell Road in Hazelwood, you should check your tickets. One SHOW ME 5 Paydown ticket worth $50,000 tax paid* sold there for the June 30 drawing will expire on Dec. 27. The winning numbers for that drawing were: 5, 6, 21, 24 and 25.
"Players who buy SHOW ME 5 Paydown tickets at QuikTrip, 5950 Howdershell Road in St. Louis, should check to see if they have the winning ticket," said Susan Goedde, communications manager for the Missouri Lottery.
Missouri SHOW ME 5 Paydown players have 180 days from the drawing to claim a prize. Unclaimed Missouri Lottery prizes go to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. Check out the complete list of unclaimed prizes.
* The Missouri Lottery will pay 25 percent federal and 4 percent state withholding taxes for the top prize based on its value. Depending on personal income, winners may owe additional taxes for the prize, or they may be entitled to a refund. Total value of the top prize is $70,422.55. After withholding, the winners will receive $50,000. If more than 14 tickets match the five winning numbers in a single drawing, $1 million will divided equally among the number of winning tickets.
