Missouri Lotto Ticket Worth $3.1 Million Sold in Kansas City

Story Photo A Missouri Lotto player who buys tickets at Hy-Vee Food/Drug Store, 8301 N. St. Clair Ave. in Kansas City, is now $3.1 million richer! A Lotto ticket sold there for the Dec. 8 drawing matched all six numbers to win the jackpot. The six winning numbers are: 10, 12, 14, 18, 34 and 37.
"If you discover you hold the winning ticket, sign the back and take it to a Missouri Lottery office," said Susan Goedde, Communications Manager.
Lottery offices are located in Kansas City, St. Louis, Jefferson City and Springfield. Maps to each office can be found at Molottery.com.
Lotto winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until June 5, 2008.
This is the fourth winning Lotto ticket sold in the Kansas City area this year. Kenneth Pryne, Kansas City, claimed a $1.8 million prize from the July 14 drawing. His ticket was purchased at QuikTrip, 17815 E. 39th in Independence. William and Elizabeth Berg of Leawood, Kan., won $2.6 million on Sept. 1 on a ticket purchased at QuikTrip, 13100 Holmes in Kansas City. Jason Pauley, Overland Park, Kan., purchased one of two winning tickets for the $1.4 million jackpot on Sept. 19. Pauley purchased his ticket at QuikTrip, 7200 E. Parvin in Kansas City.
This is the 170th winning Missouri Lotto jackpot ticket sold and the 240th jackpot ticket overall since the Lottery began nearly 22 years ago.
