Branson Man Wins $26,065 Playing Club Keno

Story Photo A man who relocated to Branson after losing his home to Hurricane Katrina is counting his blessings after he won $26,065 on Oct. 18 playing the Missouri Lottery’s Club Keno game. Doyle Culpepper, 61, was visiting Doc’s Sports Club, 120 Montgomery in Branson, when his seven numbers matched seven of the numbers drawn to win the prize.
Culpepper said he escaped to Branson in 2005 just before Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, and Branson has been his home ever since.
"This is a good thing," Culpepper said about his win. "I’ll probably have a little fun with it (his winnings), but most of it’s going to go into the bank."
Players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 ticket per drawing in Club Keno. For an extra $1, players can win as much as $300,000 by matching all the numbers and the Bulls-Eye number in a 10-spot game.
