Two employees at Schnucks Market’s headquarters are sharing more than the workload after they won $100,000 in the Oct. 18 Powerball drawing. Patricia Roloff, 32, and Madeleine Thibodeau, 47, both of St. Charles, say they plan to invest their winnings wisely. Roloff purchased the winning ticket last week at QuikTrip, 3847 McClay in St. Peters, when she and Thibodeau stopped during business travel. While purchasing a soda, Roloff decided to buy one Powerball ticket, letting the computer pick the lucky combination. Those numbers were: 17, 21, 28, 42 and 43. Roloff, whose broken leg has been healing for the past year, said she told Thibodeau after she bought the ticket that she felt like their luck was going to change and if they should win, they would split the money. To date, 495 Powerball tickets worth $100,000 have been sold in Missouri since the game began in 1992.
