Missouri Lotto Ticket Worth $1.3 Million Sold in Salisbury

A Missouri Lotto player who buys tickets at Kendrick’s Korner, Highway 24 and W. 2nd St. in Salisbury, is now $1.3 million richer! One Lotto ticket sold there for the Oct. 3 drawing matched all six numbers drawn - 11, 17, 27, 34 and 44 - to win the jackpot. "If you buy Lotto tickets there, please check them closely," said Susan Goedde, communications manager for the Missouri Lottery. Lotto winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until March 31, 2008. If you discover you hold the winning ticket, sign the back of it and take it to a Missouri Lottery office. Offices are located in Jefferson City, Kansas City, St. Louis and Springfield. Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s Web site on the Contact Us page. The last time a Missouri Lotto jackpot was won was on Sept. 19 when a player from Nevada and a player from Overland Park, Kan., split a jackpot worth $1.4 million. This is the 169th winning Missouri Lotto jackpot ticket sold and the 237rd ticket worth $1 million or more overall since the Lottery began in 1986.
