Missouri Lotto Ticket Worth $700,000 Sold in Nevada

Story Photo A Missouri Lotto player who buys tickets at Tim’s Convenience Store, 320 N. Osage in Nevada, is now $700,000 richer! One Lotto ticket sold there for the Sept. 19 drawing matched all six numbers drawn - 1, 15, 16, 29, 24 and 42 - to win a share of the jackpot. One other ticket, which was purchased at QuikTrip, 7200 N.E. Parvin in Kansas City, also matched all six numbers for the same drawing. The jackpot was worth $1.4 million, so each of the two winning tickets is worth $700,000. "If you buy Lotto tickets there, please check them closely," said Susan Goedde, communications manager for the Missouri Lottery. Lotto winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until March 17, 2008. If you discover you hold the winning ticket, sign the back of it and take it to a Missouri Lottery office. Offices are located in Kansas City, Jefferson City, St. Louis and Springfield. Maps to each office can be found on the Lottery’s Web site on the Contact Us page. The last time a Missouri Lotto jackpot was won was on Sept. 1. That $2.6 million jackpot remains unclaimed. The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip, 13100 Holmes in Kansas City. There have been 168 winning Missouri Lotto jackpot tickets sold and 235 tickets worth $1 million or more overall since the Lottery began in 1986.
