A 50-year-old Summersville woman is planning to do some remodeling after she uncovered a top prize on a Missouri Lottery "$250,000 Mega Cash" Scratchers game. Karen Helton said she bought the ticket on May 2 at Karr Kare in Summerville, which she co-owns.
Helton said she plans to use the prize money to remodel her home and help her three grown children.
"I’ll put new linoleum in the kitchen, new carpet in the living room and new siding on the house," she said
The $10 game "$250,000 Mega Cash" began on Jan. 31. It offers 30 top prizes of $250,000 and more than $100 million in cash prizes.
