Missouri Lotto Ticket Worth $1.5 Million Sold in Springfield

Story Photo A Missouri Lotto player who buys tickets at Signal Food Store, 2415 S. Campbell in Springfield, is now $1.5 million richer! One Lotto ticket sold there for the May 12 drawing matched all six numbers drawn - 2, 3, 18, 19, 29 and 35 - to win the jackpot.
"If you buy Lotto tickets there, please check them closely," said Susan Goedde, communications manager for the Missouri Lottery.
Lotto winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until Nov. 8, 2007.
If you discover you hold the winning ticket, sign the back of it and take it to a Missouri Lottery office. Offices are located in Springfield, Jefferson City, St. Louis and Independence. Maps to each office can be found on the Contact Us page.
The last time a Missouri Lotto jackpot was won was on April 21, when a Joplin woman claimed a $7.6 million jackpot with a Lotto ticket her husband purchased at Sue’s C-Store in Joplin.
This is the 163rd winning Missouri Lotto jackpot ticket sold and the 228th jackpot ticket worth $1 million or more overall since the Lottery began in 1986.
