Waynesville Retiree Uncovers $20,000 Prize!

Story Photo audio icon A Waynesville man uncovered $20,000 during his regular Missouri Lottery ticket stop. Bobby G. Pratt, 72, is retired from two careers including 20 years with the U.S. Army, and says anymore he just "piddles around." On a visit to Bill’s Sporting Goods in Waynesville on May 3, he picked up a couple of "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" Scratchers tickets and discovered the $20,000 prize after scratching them in his truck. He plans to use some of the prize money to pay off that truck and is considering buying a new one, even though his current truck has low miles and "there’s nothing wrong with it."
"$100 Million Cash Spectacular" is a $10 game that officially began on Sept. 10, 2005, and features a top prize of $1 million.
