Clarksburg Woman Uncovers Top Lottery Prize

Story Photo A Clarksburg woman is $5,000 richer after uncovering the top prize in the Missouri Lottery Scratchers game "Money Game." Mary Miller, 55, purchased her winning ticket at Break Time, 600 Highway 5 in Tipton, on April 27.
Miller went to Break Time to buy $20 worth of $1 Scratchers tickets. She took the tickets home to scratch them and was happy after she uncovered $15 in prizes. As she scratched one of the last tickets, she revealed the $5,000 prize.
"I screamed," Miller said of discovering her win.
Miller plans to put some of her prize in the bank and to pay some bills.
The $1 "Money Game" officially began on Sept. 14, 2006.
