Michigan Man Wins $6,775 Keno Prize While on Vacation in Branson
A man from Decatur, Mich., had a good day on April 5, while visiting Branson. He went fishing in the morning and caught some "beautiful" trout, and then he played Club Keno in the afternoon and reeled in $6,775. Michael Schultz said he and his family had such a wonderful time in Branson that he’s sure they’ll be back.
Schultz, his wife, Cindy, and their son came to Missouri for the first time to vacation in Branson. They enjoyed the shows and other Branson highlights, and on their last afternoon in town, Schultz and his wife spent some time at Doc’s Sports Club, 120 Montgomery in Branson, playing Club Keno.
Schultz played a seven-spot game. He selected numbers representing birthdays, graduation dates and favorite numbers. His winning numbers were: 11, 17, 27, 58, 66, 71 and 77. He won the game’s $5,000 base prize and also won $1,775 from the Progressive jackpot.
After winning the prize, Schultz said he bought himself his first fly-fishing rod and a new hat. Schultz also said he plans to replace the money in the bank that they took out for their vacation.
Club Keno players who play the six-, seven- and eight-spot games are automatically eligible - with no additional costs - to win the extra Progressive jackpot prize. Players can win this progressive prize along with the regular prize on a six-, seven- or eight-spot game. If the jackpot is not won during the drawing, it will continue to grow until it is won. The Progressive jackpot is pari-mutuel, so players will share the jackpot, based on the amount and the number of winning shares in each prize category.
