Jefferson City Man Wins $4,500 Playing Keno On Birthday

Story Photo A Jefferson City man had an especially fun 36th birthday when he played the Missouri Lottery’s Club Keno game and won $4,500. Chris Hilke said he and his wife, Renae, stopped at the Knights of Columbus, 1822 Tanner Bridge Road, for a drink to celebrate his birthday, March 30. While there, he played $10 on a 5-spot Keno game using the Bulls-Eye feature, and he won $4,500 on the first game. The winning numbers were 18, 22, 26, 29 and 30.
Hilke, who is a district manager for Dr Pepper and 7-Up, said he plans to use his prize money to concrete a driveway and pay some bills.
Hilke won $63,765 in September 1996 in the Lottery’s "Fun & Fortune" game show. He said he used that prize money to buy the land his house sits on and to pay for some of the house construction costs. He also won $500 on the game show in October 1998 and $600 on the game show in June 2000.
