Arkansas Man Wins $10,000 On New St. Louis Cardinal Ticket

Story Photo An Arkansas man is kicking off the 2007 baseball season $10,000 richer after he uncovered a $10,000 prize on the Missouri Lottery’s new "St. Louis Cardinals™" Scratchers game. Jeff Jones of Harrison, Ark., purchased his winning ticket at Wild Bill’s Travel Center, 3799 Ridgedale Road in Ridgedale.
The $5 "St. Louis Cardinals™" Scratchers game, along with the $5 "Kansas City Royals™" game, officially went on sale March 28. In addition to winning instant prizes from $5 to $100,000 in the two Major League Baseball® games, player can also win prizes by entering non-winning tickets in two promotions: "Catch the Cardinals™" and "Run with the Royals™." Each promotion will feature three drawings with experiential prizes such as season tickets for two, luxury suites, road trips to games in Chicago, games with ceremonial first pitch experiences, and officially licensed MLB® merchandise packages, including jerseys, caps, jackets, wind shirts and duffle bags.
The first entry deadline for both promotions is May 17, and the first drawings will be held May 24.
