Illinois Man Wins $76,726 Playing Keno in Harrisonville

Story Photo An Illinois man who has been working in the Harrisonville area won $76,726 playing the Missouri Lottery’s Club Keno game on March 23. Brian Griffin, 34, of Lakemoor, Ill., said he stopped at Sheriff’s Sports Bar & Grill, 2041 N. Commercial in Harrisonville, to play pool and darts with a co-worker. While there, he also played Club Keno and ended up winning two prizes on the same drawing: one worth $53,363 for matching eight numbers and the Bulls-Eye on an 8-spot game; and $23,363 for matching eight numbers on a regular 8-spot game.
Griffin, who is a hail technician for Dent Solutions in Harrisonville, said he plans to use the prize money to invest for his future.
"It’s good fun," Griffin said about playing Club Keno. "This was only the third night I had played Keno in Missouri."
Griffin selected the eight winning numbers himself. They were: 7, 13, 17, 22, 34, 57, 58 and 61.
