Pilot Grove Construction Worker Wins $5,000

Story Photo A 20-year-old construction worker from Pilot Grove is $5,000 richer after he uncovered the cash prize on a Missouri Lottery "$100,000 Jackpot" Scratchers ticket. Jordan Williams said he stopped at Casey’s, 104 Harris St. in Pilot Grove, on March 22 to buy something to eat before it closed, and while there, he bought some Scratchers tickets. When he played the tickets later at home, he discovered the only ticket he bought from the "$100,000 Jackpot" game was worth $5,000.
"I’ll buy a vehicle and use it for whatever I need," said Williams, who works for Green’s Waterproofing in Pilot Grove, doing brick work and tuck pointing. "I might buy a big-screen TV."
"$100,000 Jackpot" is a $5 Scratchers game that began July 1, 2006.
