Montgomery City Man Uncovers $20,000 Prize

A Montgomery City man is $20,000 richer after he uncovered a $20,000 top prize on a Missouri Lottery "Luck O’ the Irish" Scratchers game. Michael "Mike" Gonzalez, 48, said he bought his winning ticket a couple of weeks ago when he stopped at Save More Warehouse Foods, 820 N. Sturgeon in Montgomery City.
"I’ll help pay my daughter’s tuition to college," said Gonzalez, who is a corrections officer for the state of Missouri. Gonzalez said his daughter will start college in the fall.
"We’ll probably buy a pickup truck if some is leftover," he added.
"Luck O’ The Irish" is a $2 Scratchers game that began on Jan. 31.
