St. Joseph Man Claims $200,000 Powerball Prize

Story Photo A St. Joseph man claimed a $200,000 Powerball prize on March 13. Duane Edwards, 42, purchased his winning ticket for the March 10 drawing at Ray’s Green Hills, 3225 N. Belt Highway in St. Joseph.
Edwards selected the five winning numbers himself. They were 14, 18, 34, 42 and 43.
The second-level Powerball prize increased from $100,000 to $200,000 when the game underwent a redesign on Aug. 28, 2005. Since the game’s redesign, 67 winning $200,000 Powerball tickets have been sold in Missouri.
