ARKANSAS MAN WINS TRUCK ON WAY TO SILVER DOLLAR CITY

Friday the 13th isn’t an unlucky day for everyone. One 33-year-old Arkansas man uncovered a brand new 1999 Ford F-150 pickup truck in the Missouri Lottery’s "Trucks & Bucks" Scratchers game last Friday, Aug. 13. Gerry Graham, Hindsville, Ark., said he, his wife and twin daughters were on their way to Silver Dollar City last Friday when they stopped at Mule Express, Highway 13 and DD in Reeds Spring. Graham purchased $13 worth of Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket - six "Trucks & Bucks" - and the second "Trucks & Bucks" ticket turned out to be a truck winner. "I was getting ready to trade in my truck for a newer one," Graham told lottery officials when he claimed his prize. Graham is the human resources manager for Tyson Foods in Springdale, Ark. In addition to the truck, Graham will also receive a check for $500, and the lottery will pay 28 percent federal and 4 percent state withholding taxes on his truck package.
