Lottery Names Finalists in Ticket Design Contest
The Missouri Lottery has announced the 20 finalists in its "Design-A-Ticket" contest. The contest solicited $1 Scratchers ticket design ideas from Jan. 2 - Feb. 2. The Lottery received 875 entries that were narrowed to 20 finalists by a panel of experts. Each of the 20 finalists will receive $200 worth of Scratchers tickets.
The 20 finalist entries are posted on the Lottery’s Web site at Molottery.com. Members of the Lottery’s on-line player services group, My Lottery, will vote to choose the five final winners. Members can vote once each week from Feb. 9 through 26. Each of the five winners will receive $500 worth of Scratchers tickets. The 20 finalists and their designs are:

- "Birthday Bucks" by Douglas Steffen, Independence;
- "Bowling For Dollars" by Cindy Prinster, O’Fallon;
- "Calling For Cash" by Allen Thompson, Dexter;
- "Double Dip" by John Mooney, Troy;
- "Dream Scratcher" by Angie Cain, Desloge;
- "Fishing for Bucks" by Gary Black, Lesterville;
- "Gateway Payday" by Amanda Rulo, Bismarck;
- "Go Ahead Scratch the Paint" by Lisa James, Vienna;
- "Grand Slam" by Patty Edmiston, O?Fallon;
- "Lucky Duck" by Janey Redhage, Sullivan;
- "Lucky Duckies" by Seth Melton, Springfield;
- "Missouri Traveler" by Andrew Jarvis, Jefferson City;
- "Pandemonium" by Peggy Roedner, St. Louis;
- "Rock Paper Scissors" by Jeff Cantwell, St. Louis;
- "Show Me The Money" by Stephanie Stafford, Columbia;
