Sikeston Man Wins $10,000 Instantly
A welder from Sikeston is $10,000 richer after he uncovered the cash prize on a Missouri Lottery "Lifetime Riches" Scratchers ticket. Cedric Dowell said he bought two "Lifetime Riches" tickets when he stopped in Break Time, U.S. 62 E. in Sikeston, on Jan. 7. The second ticket he played was the $10,000 winner.
Dowell said he plans to use his prize money to catch up on bills. He also plans to take his 7-year-old daughter shopping.
The "Lifetime Riches" game, which officially started April 22, has the highest payout in the Lottery’s history and offers more than $100 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $50,000 a year for life. More than 75.62 percent of the $10 game’s sales will be returned to players as prizes.
