Lottery Sends $22.7 Million To Education

The Missouri Lottery today sent $22.7 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education. The December transfer was $22,783,236. It was based on lottery ticket sales during November. The transfer brings the total provided to public education during fiscal year 2007 to more than $124 million.
To date, the Missouri Lottery has generated more than $2.8 billion in proceeds for the state, including education, since ticket sales began in January 1986.

Four Games Will Expire in January

The following four Missouri Lottery Scratchers games will expire in January:
  • 570 - "Lucky Numbers" - expires Jan. 23, 2007;
  • 575 - "Triple Money" - expires Jan. 23, 2007;
  • 578 - "Cool 7’s" - expires Jan. 23, 2007;
  • 596 - "Ruby Red 7’s Bingo" - expires Jan. 27, 2007.
