Sikeston Woman Finds $25,000 On Scratchers Ticket

A Sikeston woman can start holiday shopping after she uncovered a $25,000 top prize on a Missouri Lottery "Deal or No Deal" Scratchers ticket. Jodi Margrabe, 31, said she bought the ticket since "Deal or No Deal" is her favorite game show.
"I’ve got three boys, so I will use it (prize money) for Christmas and bills," said Margrabe. "I’ll probably get my nails done, too."
Margrabe, who works for Brown Shoe Co. in Sikeston, said she bought her winning ticket at Hucks Food Store, 823 E. Malone in Sikeston, on Dec. 8. She took it home to "play," and she couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw her prize was $25,000.
"I need to fix my truck - maybe I will trade it," she said. "Who knows?"
"Deal or No Deal," a $2 game, officially started on Dec. 6.
