Lebanon Homemaker Wins $50,000 Playing Crossword

Story Photo A Lebanon homemaker plans to pay off the family’s home mortgage after she and her husband won $50,000 on a Missouri Lottery "Crossword" ticket that she bought on Thanksgiving. Kimberly "Kim" Molone, 36, said she, her husband, Russell, and their three children may also take a trip to Kansas City this holiday season to visit Kim’s family.
"I didn’t think I won at first," she said. "I had to double-check it."
Molone bought her winning ticket at Kum & Go, 501 Cowman Drive in Lebanon.
Molone said this wasn’t the first time she’s won a large prize playing a Missouri Lottery game. Approximately two years ago, she won $20,000 on a St. Patrick’s Day-themed ticket. She and her family used that prize money to buy a car and pay some bills.
"Crossword," a $3 Scratchers game, officially began on Aug. 5.
