Salisbury Retiree Uncovers $30,000 Top Prize

Story Photo audio icon A Salisbury man uncovered a $30,000 top prize on a Missouri Lottery "Triple Money Bags" Scratchers ticket on Nov. 18. Donald Reed, 69, said he and his wife, Carol Ann, plan to use some of the prize money to remodel their home. "We’ll give the kids a part of it," said Reed, who is the father of four grown sons, grandfather to 15 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren. Reed said three great-grandchildren are "on the way." Reed purchased his winning ticket at Kendrick’s Korner, Highway 24 and W. 2nd St. in Salisbury. "Triple Money Bags," a $2 game, officially started on April 22.
