THREE WIN $25,000 TAX PAID IN ST. LOUIS AREA

What do a hospital housekeeper from Villa Ridge, a body shop manager from Overland and a train conductor from St. Louis all have in common? They all matched the five numbers drawn in the Missouri Lottery’s SHOW ME 5 game on Saturday night to win $25,000 tax paid.* Donna Weber, 34, of Villa Ridge, Sandra Hart, 46, of Overland and Laceon Minor, 46, of St. Louis (63136**) all picked the winning combination of 2, 8, 10, 13 and 24. Weber purchased her winning ticket at Pine Lawn Food Market, 4323 Jennings Road in Pine Lawn. She let the computer select the winning combination. Weber said she plans to use the money to buy a new four-wheel drive truck, pay bills and take a honeymoon after her upcoming marriage in November. Weber works full time as a housekeeper for a hospital and part-time at Dollar General in Pacific. Hart, who is an assistant body shop manager, said she and her husband know exactly how her winnings will be spent. She plans to get a computer for her oldest son who is in college, buy some new carpet for her house and help her youngest son by a car. They also plan to invest some of the winnings. Hart purchased her winning ticket at Overland Mobil Mart, 9405 Page Blvd. in Overland. She picked the winning numbers at random and has been playing them for about a year now. Minor, a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad in St. Louis, said he plans to help his mom with his winnings and buy himself a 60-inch Sony television. Minor said he used family birthdays to select the lucky combination on a ticket he purchased at Amoco Chambers, 10000 W. Florissant in Dellwood. * Twenty-eight percent federal and 4 percent state taxes are withheld from the total prize amount of $36,764.70 to provide $25,000 cash at the time of redemption.
