Dixon Man Wins $10,000 Prize

Story Photo A Dixon man is planning a nice Christmas for his family after he won $10,000 playing the Missouri Lottery’s Scratchers game "Season’s Greetings" on Nov. 9. James Dale and his wife, Rhonda, plan to use their winnings to pay bills, put some in savings and have a good Christmas.
Dale, 38, said he bought three "Season’s Greetings" tickets and a few other Scratchers tickets. He gave half of them to his wife to scratch.
"She won $13, but I hadn’t won anything," Dale said. "I finally got to the (winning) ticket and I saw all my numbers matched. I had $1,000 prizes all of the way across the ticket!"
Dale, a carpenter, purchased his winning ticket at Casey’s, 100 E. 4th St. in Dixon.
"Season’s Greetings," a $2 game, officially started Oct. 28.
