Vanzant Man Piles Up $10,000 For Savings Account
A bulldozer operator from Vanzant can pile $10,000 into his savings account after he uncovered a $10,000 prize on a Missouri Lottery "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" Scratchers ticket. Clifford Nickell, 67, said he only bought one ticket on Oct. 19, when he stopped at Casey’s, 208 S. Main in Mountain Grove.
"I thought I was pretty lucky," he said. "When I told my wife, she started hollering."
The "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" game, which officially started on Sept. 10, 2005, has the one of the highest payouts and offers more than $102.5 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $1 million. More than 75.14 percent of the $10 game’s sales will be returned to players as prizes.
