Lee's Summit Woman Holds Lotto Ticket Worth $3.8 Million

Story Photo A Lee’s Summit woman is the winner of the $3.8 million Missouri Lotto jackpot from the Oct. 7 drawing. Barbara McCrary-Bazzle, 56, said she bought the winning ticket on Oct. 7 at Conoco/Circle K, 9917 E. Bannister Road in Kansas City, when she stopped to buy gas.
McCrary-Bazzle, who is a manager for a large corporation, said she has been playing Lotto "for a long time." She let the computer pick the winning combination. Those numbers were: 2, 3, 18, 23, 30 and 33.
Along with McCrary-Bazzle’s win, Conoco/Circle K will receive a bonus check for $38,000 for selling the winning ticket. That amount is equal to 1 percent of the winning jackpot.
To date, 221 jackpot tickets worth $1 million or more have been sold in the Lottery’s 20 years of sales. Of those tickets sold, 160 were from the Lotto game.
