STURGEON MAN WINS $100,000 PLAYING POWERBALL

A Sturgeon man is $100,000 richer after all his white-ball numbers matched all those drawn in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing. Dale Forrest, 61, said he hasn’t yet decided what he will do with the windfall. Forrest, who works in the banking industry, purchased his winning ticket at DC’s West, 204 W. Switzler in Centralia. He let the computer select his lucky combination. The winning numbers were: 5, 10, 11, 27 and 32. To date, 434 Missouri players have won $100,000 in Powerball since the game began in April 1992.
