Desloge Saleman Wins $25,000 Playing Keno

Story Photo A bakery salesman from Desloge won $25,000 playing the Missouri Lottery’s Club Keno game on Aug. 6. Steve Harris, 52, said he and his wife, Linda, had been at the M.A.C. Elks Lodge in Desloge for about an hour when he matched nine numbers and the Bulls-Eye in a 10 spot game to win the $25,000 prize.
"We’ll probably use the money to pay bills and build an outbuilding," said Harris, who sells for Interstate Brands, which handles Wonder Bread, Hostess Cakes, Butternut and Dolly Madison.
Club Keno began in May 2002. Players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 ticket per drawing. For an extra $1, players can chose the Bulls-Eye option and win between $5 and $50 for matching just the Bulls-Eye number. Players can win as much as $300,000 by matching all the numbers and the Bulls-Eye number in a 10-spot game.
