Less Than a Month Left To Claim Two Large Prizes

Time is running out on two large Missouri Lottery prizes. A $200,000 Powerball prize sold in Moody and a $50,000 tax-paid* SHOW ME 5 Paydown prize sold in Belton both expire in August.
The $200,000 Powerball ticket was sold at The Kountry Korner Store, Highway 142 in Moody, for the Feb. 25 drawing. The prize will expire on Aug. 24. The winning numbers for that drawing were: 3, 37, 46, 48 and 51.
The $50,000 tax-paid SHOW ME 5 Paydown prize was sold at QuikTrip, 501 E. North Ave. in Belton, for the Feb. 27 midday drawing. The prize will expire on Aug. 26. The five winning numbers from that drawing were: 22, 28, 33, 41 and 43.
Missouri Powerball and SHOW ME 5 Paydown players have 180 days from the drawing to claim a prize. Unclaimed Missouri Lottery prizes go to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. For a complete list of unclaimed prizes and public education programs funded with Lottery proceeds, go to molottery.com.
* The Missouri Lottery will pay 25 percent federal and 4 percent state withholding taxes for the top prize based on its value. Depending on personal income, winners may owe additional taxes for the prize, or they may be entitled to a refund. Total value of the top prize is $70,422.55. After withholding, winners will receive $50,000. If more than 14 players match the five winning numbers in a single drawing, $1 million will be divided equally among the number of winning tickets.
