Lee's Summit Union Electrician Claims Fifth Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
A union electrician from Lee’s Summit became the fifth player to uncover a new 2006 Harley-Davidson® Fat Boy® vivid black motorcycle from the "Harley-Davidson®" Scratchers game. Rick McEvoy, 48, bought his winning ticket on July 21 at Conoco Short Stop 101, 6509 Raytown Road in Raytown.
McEvoy said he plans to keep the motorcycle, since he was in the process of saving enough money to buy a Harley-Davidson when he won. He said he used to have one several years ago.
In addition to the motorcycle, the Lottery will pay the withholding taxes on McEvoy’s prize package, which is worth more than $25,000. He will also receive $250 cash and a $250 Genuine Harley-Davidson Merchandise in-store credit.
The "Harley-Davidson" game and the promotion officially started May 27. By buying a $5 "Harley-Davidson" Scratchers ticket, Lottery players have a chance to instantly win up to $100,000 in cash or one of 10 2006 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy vivid black motorcycles plus $250 cash and a $250 Genuine Harley-Davidson Merchandise in-store credit.
Non-winning "Harley-Davidson" tickets can also be entered into two remaining drawings in the "Ticket to Ride" promotion for a chance to win a grand-prize 2006 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 truck and $500, one of two Fat Boy motorcycles, or one of 600 Harley-Davidson prize packages. The drawings will be held Aug. 2 and Oct. 4. All entries received during the promotion will be eligible for the grand-prize truck during the final drawing on Oct. 4.
An entry into the promotion consists of one $5 "Harley-Davidson" Scratchers ticket. Players can enter the drawings in three ways: on-line at molottery.com; by depositing entries at a Missouri Lottery office; or by mailing them to:
