Neosho Woman Wins Harley-Davidson In First Drawing

Donna Johnson of Neosho can spend the summer with wind in her hair after winning the grand-prize Harley-Davidson® Fat Boy® motorcycle in the Missouri Lottery’s first of three "Ticket To Ride" summer promotion drawings. The first drawing was held July 5.
Johnson said she and her mom buy Scratchers tickets regularly, and they will probably share the prize.
"I never expected to win this," said Johnson. "This is just so exciting."
Johnson said she isn’t sure if they will keep the motorcycle, but her fiancé, Ken, is a Harley-Davidson fan.
"He has a vintage Harley," she said.
Johnson purchased her winning ticket at Speed Bump, 817 S. Neosho Blvd. in Neosho, where she works as a cashier. She said she sent in approximately 23 entries.
The Missouri Lottery received more than 192,000 entries for the first drawing.
Lottery players can instantly win one of 10 new Fat Boy® motorcycles or up to $100,000 cash in the $5 "Harley-Davidson" Scratchers game, which went on sale May 27.
Along with the instant prizes, players can enter their non-winning tickets into two remaining drawings, held on Aug. 2 and Oct. 4. An entry consists of one non-winning ticket. One Harley-Davidson® Fat Boy® motorcycle and 300 Harley-Davidson® prize packages will be awarded in each drawing.
All entries received for each of the three drawings will be eligible for a grand-prize 2006 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 truck and $500 during the final drawing on Oct. 4.
